Hi Flip, lovely game


There is an issue with Wildhunt Heath where upon reloading a stage the  level gets rather laggy and the ai on suppression gets a head start.


Unfortunate, Wildhunt is one of my favorite characters.

Will ahab ever be playable?

How does one use roland ? / And is there a way I could help with information ? It'd be nice to have some sort of guide so that you don't need to ask questions ( and also maybe a discord server for a community ? )

You are right, Roland is a pretty tricky character to use. I was supposed to put how to use characters in the information menu, but I made it to the point I actually did so.

I am preparing a discord server, though I have to tell I am unprepared.
I never did something like this and I don't know how to manage filters, channels, posts and all that. It will take time to learn but in the near future I would like to create a community space to do so :)

What should I do if when I try to open kayack on mac, it says "Apple could not verify "kayack-v" is free of malware and may harm your Mac or compromise your privacy."? The only options are Done and Move to Bin.

You gotta go to settings -> privacy & security
scroll down until you find 'allow Monolith to launch' or smth like that.
this happens to most downloading games for any mac game.

what do you supposed to do when the prescript ask you to "eliminate the yellow man"?

Getting a Prescript while already having a Prescript active crashes the game if the first prescript is not resolved by the time the second one activates

I am kindaa unsure because the prescripts should either fail or succeed before getting the next one. Regarding that I will look over it and fix the issue if it happens.

Is Don Quixote's skill 5 in the game yet? Just curious as it doesn't seem to do anything for me.

Other than that you've made a very neat game, can't wait to see it get even better!

It is a counter, you need to get hit while the exclamation mark is above your head for it to do anything

are there going to have enemy fights like multiple enemies. or only one elite enemy with the weaklings being summoned and temporary?

Are there plans for online multiplayer? i feel like local is a bit limiting

seven association problem?

its damage feels.. bad

a combo of 2+1(reuse)+3+2+1(reuse)+5 is like just as strong as a 1+2+1+3+1 combo of the one who shall grp

7cliff's skill damage rises with each weakpoint (those weird green circles) there is on the target.

I dont know if this is due to bug, nerf (or maybe i am bad) but i feel like Wildhunt Heathcliff´s skills take  so long to activate that the opponent has a lot of time to hit before you hit them (allthough that makes them feel like they do a lot more damage that they actually do)

Wildhunt is a generic heavy weapon character, so its very true that he has a slower startup for his moves, especially the 5th skill. For compensation wildhunt generally has a high base damage and a huge hit box, which I find it balances his heavy weighted weapon. 🤔

I understand the tought that having more base damage balances it out (and yes for the kromer and ahab fights it does) but with specifically kim (and im not even talking about the hard version of all the bosses) and likely with (presumably) harder fights that could be added in the future it really doesn´t.

But at the end of the day balancing caracthers isn´t as important as resolving bugs and adding new content. So just keep this tought at the back of your head and tackle it when you feel that the time is right.

Also, just saw the sunshower PV, that looks SICK keep up the good work man

i like the game so here is some suggestion

extra identities that feels good to use in a brawl game like monolith: ...

Multicrack Office rep (peak)

W corp

Tingtang Gang Gangleader (Multiliate being a evade-counter-attack?)(the same with sanguine pointilism too)

R Corp 4th pack Reindeer (used with some dashing so it isnt entirely ranged, like fanmade kit rather than ishmael's?)

Princess of La Manchaland (peak)

Dawn Office fixer Sinclair (peak)

(Discard related identity?) (put last off cooldown skill on half of its cooldown for the discard effect to happen)

K Corp. Class 3 Excision Staff (cool)

Spicebush (peak)

Cinq Assoc. (weaker skills make you back away, some skills have you move forward, muskeeter agile movements!)

Nclair (skills have some kind of knockback in it, also self destructive purge kinda pushes you forward and stop until you have gripped your enemy - for a combo after those knockback skills?)

hello! i can say i tried to get experience from this game.. and i have this one problem, 

is that ahab is more like a neutral - struggling fight even on all kinds of identity.. (counting a bit of my skill issues), 

some things noticable is that she often use skills rapidly making that when you hit her she will GET YOU

(i think i said "GET YOU" is a bit vague)

what i mean is her skills last too long and uses them too quickly: what i suggest is her skills become use twice.. like the last hit of the harpoon of obsession is cancellable and you may have a chance to fight back...

also it might be good to have the peqoud team moving but are a bit shadowy when they're not attacking

also might make them add like 1 second cooldown to each of ahab's abilities, and let ahab prioritize summoning  them before using any skills?

Could you give a brief explanation about Roland? I cant seem  to get the "Atelier+" like shown in a video in your channel.

You can hold the 'down' button to use Roland's second skill page.
As of now there is only one skill, Atelier+ which you noticed. 
I find this issue to be prevented by finishing the information menu one day.

fantastic game, i love it so much, i also like it when i pull out kromer and use the one who grips and follow it up by purity chained into that nail throw and finished off with a whistle then repeat the combo and then use the pierce attack and make the enemy cry, i also just as much love running away like a little bitch with seven association and spamming analyze and riposte until i stack up enough of those green dots to use my last skill to wipe them from the continent dealing thousands of damage (20 greens and one full final skill  is enough to do exactly 500 damage to oneshot any boss hit by it) the one complaint i have about the game is that when you restart, the bosses can move and use attacks before you do allowing them to get cheap hits at the start, especially when kromer uses whistle and the character lacks a ranged attack

hey! using the 3rd skill does even more damage ( talking about green stacks )

devyat fixer feels very buggy to play. especially noticeable when fighting Ahab because she just bugs out of your ultimate and starts stunlocking you into death

Ahab is generally a difficult boss to fight, I struggle occasionally to beat it too...!

About the bug parts I am looking over some issues like the skills being not ran while the cooldown does, etc.

I am sorry to say I have no clue of the issues whatsoever. 
It may be an issue of a the program designed in 64bits Windows, if that is the problem.

its fun, and I wonder if there's any more pm fangames, it's kinda hard to fight the bosses since sometimes whenever I have them in a combo, they somehow manage to use a skill, that or it's a skill issue from me lol

kinda wish that you could block some attacks, but otherwise it's a fun game, and I look forward to what it'll become in the futur

Some of the keys don't really chain in a combo, it would be best if you test it on training and see if it stuns them throughout the whole attack chain. 🧐

I am making more defensive skills for characters (combo breakers) and that could possibly be a way to block attacks.

that and please add in controller support, imo it'll be a tad bit easier to pull off combos.

I will look over controller inputs if that is possible. If not I'm pretty sure there are executable programs that converts controller input into keyboard input, that could be the last resolve XD.

Your game is incredible. All three bosses are super fun and REALLY well designed. (Even if I need therapy after what Ahab did to me.)

Only things which do feel bad are Kromer being able to use Whistles at any distance (if her AI wanders away from you at the start of the fight, you're guaranteed to get hit by it) and players being actionable while getting teleported back from off the stage, leading to a lot of janky interactions. Ahab probably shouldn't be able to hook you if you're already hooked but she's very evil, so maybe that's just how it is. Thank you for making this!!

I would do a workaround if there are more issues about using skills while falling off.

Ahab might get a little bit of nerf (skill cooldown and little bit of damage wise) but the overall stress you will gain will be the same B)

Otherwise game is kinda fun, though pretty laggy on the web version.

I'm sorry there was an issue running the game. I hope I could get more information to get troubleshooting with the issue. My game is operated on Windows 10 too.

For double checks, download the windows version of the game.

After extracting the zip file, double click on 'Monolith V1.1.exe'

If there is an issue after these procedures do tell me...! 

I downloaded it for the third time and it just worked, i guess it was a skill issue! Runs much better on the downloaded version, too.

Can you port this game to android? 

I know that its hard but i want to play this game on my phone.

If you help me pay the $139/y for the web to apk packager, sure.
The free version only allows up to 100mb, which is way less than I need.
And also doing so will only allow you to press one button at a time.
(I imported a lighter version of the game to my phone and it wasn't the best)


Though, thank you for having interest about it! I personally wanted to do this as well and have the mobile ui's ready, it's just that it seems impossible. 

Sadly i dont have too much money to share but if there is possibility i gonna donate some money!

I got my hands on 'real programming languages' and am trying to make an app version. As of now its kinda whacky and have to reimplement button designs, but it will be amazing if it can get to work!

I'm really hoping you can get it to work!!

The game is quite good but i think that Ahab shouldn't be able to use her binding harpoon moves while her old chains haven't disappeared yet, it would cause a stun lock as it is already pretty painful to get bound by her. (idk if this is intentional, but if someone pushes you off of the stage while being combo-ed while you are using "Yield My Flesh", "to claim their bones" will miss completely)

also "Yield My Flesh" seems quite unrewarding since most of the time, the enemy will stun-lock you for about 20% of your health, and putting the sword away in the "To claim their bones" animation is so slow that you are basically guaranteed to be hit again

also also, BL Muersalt's overthrow is kinda wonky

also also also, why are the moves 1,2,3,... and Q???
it took me way too long to figure out that it's Q and also people will probably keep accidentally pressing 4 out of instinct

characters feel quite unbalanced, especially with the grabbing ones

I notice that [easy] Ahab is set more difficult than I anticipated.
The painful combos done by her are mostly intended during hard mode, but it seems like her skills are already long enough to outrun the time gap I set for easy mode.

I heard many feedbacks of making 'To Claim Their Bones' more rewarding, and yes, I will rework the move. It was meant to be stronger with 'poise' after using moon-splitting draw, a skill 5 that is unfinished yet. But I guess I could generally upgrade the skill. (and yes I will either stun the opponent or make the animation of putting the sword faster)

Overthrow is as intended, I recommend you to not get close to the opponent before using the skill.

Keybinds options will be added by the next update. 
Perhaps, I had to make a better tutorial.

I like the game, but the key lay out is kind of terrible. Just the ability to rebind keys would make this game so much better. The keys are too close together which makes it hard to press the right one and can cause cramps. I do really like the sound track for the game, as the between two worlds cover you chose goes really hard. 

Don's La Sangre de Sancho is a tad buggy. She is fun to play, but she basically has 4 skills like Kim. 

I do like it and find it fun. I just wish it didn't hurt my hand to play.

I acknowledge the problems of the key binds for the game. I am working on a setting option to rebind keys, so hang tight!
 (in fact I have this ready in the dev menu but I don't have a accessible UI yet)
It will also be better if I got more details of how Don's 4th skill is being awkward..!
